Ragging of students admitted to this college is totally prohibited and banned both in the Campus and Hostels. Any violation of this by the students / hostelites is viewed very seriously and punishable as per the regulations prevailing in the State and Central Government. The Punishment will be severe / harsh which can be to the extent of rusticating from the Institution and or removed from the Hostel without any notice by forfeiting all kinds of refundable deposits.
This college has constituted an Anti-ragging committee, comprising of dedicated cadre of wardens headed by the Principal. It shall monitor the anti-ragging activities in the college and hostel, consider the recommendations of the anti-ragging squad and take appropriate decisions, including spelling out suitable punishments to those found guilty. It shall also monitor and oversee the performance of the anti-ragging squad in prevention of ragging in the hostels.
Anti-ragging measures
For alleviating the so called social indiscipline RAGGING, in our campus, as per the government order, anti ragging oath is being taken by the students every year. A poster displaying anti ragging help line number has been stuck in every nook and corner of the college premises and anti ragging committee has been constituted with staff members every year. Students are warned and instructed in the beginning of the semester by conducting students meeting every year and they are warned and instructed about the consequences if at all they indulge in such activities.

Details of Anti-ragging duty performed by the Staff
Anti-ragging duty is assigned every year to all faculty members to monitor the college and hostel premises for 24 hours in a day for a period of 30 to 45 days in order to ensure the campus as Ragging free campus.

Besides, for the betterment of students, ward counseling is being conducted by the staff members every week. For every nine students one staff member is allotted for taking care of them in all the other aspects than the study such as health, counseling for solving the personal problems, motivation for them to pursue their higher studies, possibilities for the career advancements. Besides they will be taken care of in every other aspect apart from the academics.
