Anti Ragging Cell

Ragging of students admitted to this college is totally prohibited and banned both in the Campus and Hostels. Any violation of this by the students / hostelites is viewed very seriously and punishable as per the regulations prevailing in the State and Central Government.

NSS activities

NSS activities are carried out as a registered course in UG degree programme for the first four semesters. Mr.R.Ramadhas, Assistant Professor (Horticulture) performing as NSS Programme Officer in TRIARD. The NSS activities included regular activities and special camp activities. It is aimed to develop students’ personality through community service and inculcate social welfare in student and provide service to society.

ADA and Village Stay Programme

The student Ready programme is implemented as per the UG syllabus. The students undergo RAWE programme, All India Tour and Project work during VII semester and Experiential Learning programme work during VIII semesters of the undergraduate programme from the academic year 2017 onwards

SAP Action Plan committee Member

The proposed activities for the committee include planting local resilient trees that ensure the water table is not eroded, auditing energy-efficient heating, cooling, lighting, and water systems on the campus, paper-less work culture (using email and WhatsApp for communication), constructing/Increasing no. of rainwater harvesting pits on the campus, researching trees that take up minimal water that is good for the ecosystem (local, resilient species) and planting them during monsoon and taking care of them.

Study Tour

The students will undertake the short tour during third semester for seven days covering KVK’s, Research stations, Sister campuses and ICAR institutes in the southern part of Tamil Nadu. The study tour will provide an exposure to the students to know about the soil, climatic conditions and cropping patterns in the respective agro-climatic zones. The students will also have first-hand information on latest technologies on various crops and allied activities.

CM Trophy

The Chief Minister’s Trophy sports competitions were conducted at the MGR Sports Stadium, near the District Collector’s Office, Perambalur from 26.08.2025 to 12.09.2025. for Schools, Colleges, Government employees and Differently-abled categories. The College-level competitions were held from 01.09.2025 to 10.09.2025. In these competitions, a total of 280 students (boys and girls) from our Thanthai Roever Institute of Agriculture and Rural Development enthusiastically participated in more than 40 different sports events. Out of them, 96 students showcased their outstanding talents and won certificates, medals, and cash awards. Out of 96 Winners, 28 students have been selected to play in the State-level team. The details of the selected students and. prize winners are furnished below.
